Friends of the Libraries of Towns County (FOLTC) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization of volunteers. All funds raised by FOLTC are used to support public libraries (especially the Mountain Regional Library in Young Harris and the Towns County Public Library in Hiawassee, Georgia), promote literacy, and inspire lifelong learning. Towns County Public Library, Hiawassee: Tuesday-Friday 10:00-6:00
Mountain Regional Library, Young Harris: Monday-Thursday 10:00-5:00

FOLTC Mission

The mission of the Friends of the Libraries of Towns County, a non-profit organization, is to provide financial support for the Mountain Regional Library and the Towns County Public Library and to advocate for public libraries.

The Friends raise funds to help purchase books, and supplement the Children's summer Reading Program.
